Sarah Thea is a costume designer originally from South Florida and has been a NYC transplant since 2009. With boundless energy, she needs no coffee but loves it, and feels most grounded when barefoot. She is continually humbled by the power of the human form, especially in opera and dance. Dramaturgy, sunlight and sculptural explorations feed her soul and she is obsessed with hair as a marker of passing time.
The land has been raped, and the people have been abused by their leaders, like Salome by Herod. As the moon rises and the decadent dinner courses on, an undercurrent of change flows through Salome’s body, and all eyes turn her way. Salome calls for a sacrifice that shifts the surrounding eyes of judgment toward Herod; and the power of the sky collapses into the chthonian earth.
This is a story about life that begins and ends with death. The grotesque reality of our fragile flesh is confronted.
It’s about our time on earth, where the good and bad are always together. Flote shows us life is too short to choose suffering over joy. We bring you a comedy, anachronistic in nature. In the words of Flote “Oh a world ruled by seriousness alone is an old world, a grave, graveyard world.”
So as the bells of time toll past and we stay confined to our homes and computer screens, we give you permission to laugh! And through this humanity will be brought closer together, and will overcome.

The black bullet steam engine takes the naïve William Blake West, to a town blackened by iron and steel production, a manmade hellscape. Metal in his heart, Blade escapes on a pinto that takes him to the forest where he is found by Nobody. With Nobody as his guide, Blake transitions from an innocent man to a predator by necessity, to an awakening with the final release to the water of reflection.
